Who Stole Our Culture?

Lind begins his discussion at around WW I and, indeed, that was a critical period. However, few realize that Marxism had somewhat of an influence on America going all the way back to Dishonest Abe. See: Lincoln’s Marxists by Al Benson Jr. and Walter Kennedy.

Also, the Vietnam War and its accompanying “Hippy” movement was essentially a Communist revolution which changed the country drastically. A not so “fond” memory:

Sometime during October of 1969, I was in the hospital at First Med Battalion in DaNang. It was during the Moratorium March on Washington, DC. Old Charlie (the Viet Cong) had, for propaganda reasons, picked up the tempo of his operations to coincide with the march.

My humble hospital bed was positioned where I could look out the window, across the chopper pad and into the carnage receiving area. All day that day and way into the night, MedEvac choppers lined up and hovering in a que 6 or 7 deep. One would land and disgorge its carnage and another would take its place.

The medical personnel were slipping, sliding and falling down due to the inch or so of blood on the deck.

At that time I swore an oath to myself–when I got back to the world I would kill the first goddamnedhippy I saw. Fortunately, for me, I had mellowed some before I had the chance to fulfill that oath. — jtl, 419

About Land & Livestock Interntional, Inc.

Land and Livestock International, Inc. is a leading agribusiness management firm providing a complete line of services to the range livestock industry. We believe that private property is the foundation of America. Private property and free markets go hand in hand—without property there is no freedom. We also believe that free markets, not government intervention, hold the key to natural resource conservation and environmental preservation. No government bureaucrat can (or will) understand and treat the land with as much respect as its owner. The bureaucrat simply does not have the same motives as does the owner of a capital interest in the property. Our specialty is the working livestock ranch simply because there are so many very good reasons for owning such a property. We provide educational, management and consulting services with a focus on ecologically and financially sustainable land management that will enhance natural processes (water and mineral cycles, energy flow and community dynamics) while enhancing profits and steadily building wealth.
