Army Virtue-Tweet Backfires: 1000s Expose “Heartbreaking” Horrors of War

With the single exception of the War of Yankee Aggression and then only from the side of the South, the uSSA has not fought a constitutional war since 1812.

Since then, every soldier, sailor, airman or Marine has been a dupe. My word for it is “Betrayed.” I even wrote a book by that name about it. Here is a small sample paraphrased from the book:

I went to PLC and qualified with the M14 rifle. I went to boot camp and qualified with the M14 rifle. I went to ITR (now known as the School of Infantry) and qualified with the M14 rifle. I went to Staging Btn. and qualified with the M14 rifle. I went to Vietnam and they gave me an M16 rifle and sent me to the bush without ever having the opportunity to so much as site the damned thing in.

I’m a slow learner. It took me 40+ years to figure out that was proof that they didn’t give a shit about me. I was nothing to any of them but a warm body filling a slot on a TO&E Chart. — jtl, 419

Tweet after tweet after tweet, people used the opportunity that the Army had inadvertently given them to describe how they or their loved one had been chewed up and spit out by a war machine that never cared about them.

About Land & Livestock Interntional, Inc.

Land and Livestock International, Inc. is a leading agribusiness management firm providing a complete line of services to the range livestock industry. We believe that private property is the foundation of America. Private property and free markets go hand in hand—without property there is no freedom. We also believe that free markets, not government intervention, hold the key to natural resource conservation and environmental preservation. No government bureaucrat can (or will) understand and treat the land with as much respect as its owner. The bureaucrat simply does not have the same motives as does the owner of a capital interest in the property. Our specialty is the working livestock ranch simply because there are so many very good reasons for owning such a property. We provide educational, management and consulting services with a focus on ecologically and financially sustainable land management that will enhance natural processes (water and mineral cycles, energy flow and community dynamics) while enhancing profits and steadily building wealth.
